The Postal franchise is alive and continues to gradually expand.
[UPDATED] Players criticized the project, suspecting the use of AI assets. Running With Scissors responded: stated that their "trust in the development team was undermined" and announced the cancellation of the project shortly after the announcement.
Original news:
Running With Scissors reminded players of the Postal franchise again in December. A new project is in development.
Postal: Bullet Paradise has been announced, which is positioned as a "bullet-heaven shooter with online co-op, where everyone wants to kill you... and you don't care at all."
The playable characters are Dudes from iconic versions of Postal, each possessing their own "characteristics, perks, and personality problems."
The Dudes will find themselves in a world "full of psychopaths, corporate cults, broken robots, and too much surveillance. If it moves, it probably wants to kill you."
The Postal: Bullet Paradise page on Steam is available at the following link; the release date has not yet been announced.
