Another major Microsoft game has launched on PS5 — early access has begun. The full premiere will take place on December 8, 2025, but owners of the more expensive edition can already start flying.
Despite some issues with texture loading and streaming responsiveness reported by Gamingbolt, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 looks good on PS5. The level of visual fidelity of the game is almost indistinguishable from the Xbox Series X version.
Critical reviews are also appearing: slow world loading, server disconnections, and individual bugs affecting gameplay. Reviews emphasize that Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 offers a huge amount of content, makes worthy use of DualSense capabilities, and remains one of the best flight systems in the history of the genre.
For simulation fans, it's still a unique experience, although you'll have to wait for fixes.
