Next week, fans of the "Call of Cthulhu" tabletop role-playing game will be able to purchase the "Digital Age Nightmares" collection of five scenarios, and through a crowd-campaign, they will have the chance to get the "Investigator Dossier" collection for free.
Hobby World Publishing announced that the crowd-campaign for "Digital Age Nightmares" will start on December 10, 2025, at 16:00 Moscow time.
This is a collection of five scenarios for the "Call of Cthulhu" tabletop role-playing game, each of which takes place in modern times. Players will have to try themselves in different roles: from a member of the British Parliament to a representative of a street gang.
Players will be able to conduct an investigation in an old hotel among the landscapes of northern Canada, save a ship that disappeared in the waters of Greenland, penetrate the depths of a pharmaceutical company, witness a disaster on an oil rig in the North Sea, and participate in criminal showdowns.
The author of the scenarios is Sandy Petersen himself — the founding father of the "Call of Cthulhu" system. During the "Digital Age Nightmares" crowdfunding campaign, the collection can be purchased for 2790 rubles (thanks to the "early bird" promotion, the price will be reduced to 2650 rubles). The retail price will be 3490 rubles.
If the crowd-campaign raises 600,000 rubles, all participants will receive the "Investigator Dossier" for free — a set of laminated telegrams that can be used multiple times.
