Although prices for RAM and other PC components are now rising rapidly, thanks to the Computer Junkyard board game, gamers from Russia will be able to take part in battles for "hardware" and assemble a vintage computer.
Employees of the Choo Choo Games publishing house announced that they will release the Computer Junkyard board game in Russia, designed for 2-4 people.
In this project, participants will have to assemble a vintage computer, literally physically connecting polyomino details on a metal motherboard. Spare parts can be purchased at a junkyard, exchanged, or even stolen from rivals.
After purchases and other transactions, the spare parts are laid out in the motherboard grid – simultaneously by all players for speed.
Choo Choo Games will bring Computer Junkyard in its maximum configuration – immediately with all add-ons (the only exceptions are the children's version and the add-on for six players).
It is also worth noting that on the Kickstarter crowdfunding platform, this board game was able to receive almost 19 million rubles thanks to generous sponsors.
