Microsoft's head of communications, Frank Shaw, told The Verge:

We have moved to more dynamic and accessible formats — stories, videos, and information that show inclusion in practice. Our mission and commitment to our culture and values remain unchanged: to empower every person and organization to achieve more.

Microsoft has changed its internal evaluation system: it removed the "top priorities" of security and diversity from it. Now, employees do not need to talk about what they have done to promote diversity in the company.

Now the assessment only asks about the goals achieved, the ways to achieve them, the problems and plans for the future, without directly mentioning diversity. In the human resources documents reviewed by The Verge, the word "diversity" is not found, only "inclusion" is mentioned.
