The development of PoE 2 is gradually continuing in "early access."
Grinding Gear Games previously planned to release the full version of Path of Exile 2 in March 2026. However, there is a high probability that the plans will be adjusted.
Game Director Jonathan Rogers shared in an interview with Eurogamer:
I am fairly confident we will get the game out before the end of 2026, but as I have mentioned, I don't want to make any promises. At the same time, I don't think [the release] will be in March; we'll see.
Rogers did not specify a new release window, but he previously said that he "definitely wouldn't want" the launch of the full version of the game to be pushed back to 2027.
Eurogamer suggests that Path of Exile 2 may be released in the fall of next year.
