Extraction mechanics decided to combine with the ARPG genre.
In early December, BetaDwarf launched a Steam test for the action RPG Vaultbreakers, which uses extraction mechanics.
This is a PvPvE project, but the developers will also offer the option to choose a PvE mode — players will have to return lost relics and escape:
Complete intense little tasks that dynamically change depending on the actions of players and NPCs. Someone will be able to pollute a large area or open a secret cave, and someone will start an ancient ritual. Everyone has their own plans, so each game will be filled with threats and opportunities that can be used or avoided.
