While the Activision franchise is having problems, a new military shooter is being prepared in the East.
The studio 烽火工作室 recently presented the trailer for Fourteen Years of Flames and talked about the project.
This is a first-person story-driven shooter that immerses you in the events of the Second Sino-Japanese War (1931–1945). Players will be offered to take on the role of seven key characters and participate in 16 real historical events:
Your journey begins amidst the harsh landscapes of Northeast China and leads to the ancient capital of Nanjing — where you will become a participant in the large-scale national war against the invasion that swept across China. Experience the sorrow, sacrifices, and heroism unique to that era.
