The recent Winter Offensive update for Battlefield 6 has caused discontent in the community. Players have started reporting issues with the main menu, as well as freezes in matches.
The developers of Battlefield 6 are aware of the issue and are currently preparing a patch. In the meantime, they suggest trying a solution from community members:
A solution that some Steam users say helps: open your friends list and select "Offline" mode. Try doing this if you are playing through Steam while we investigate the issue and work on a full fix.
As practice shows, for some reason this can really remove freezes in Battlefield 6.
