Over the years, many patches with fixes have been released for the game.
In December, fans and CD Projekt RED celebrated the fifth anniversary of Cyberpunk 2077. The developers released a special trailer for the game in honor of the holiday.
Quest Director of Cyberpunk 2077 and Game Director of the sequel, Paweł Sasko, addressed the players:
Hey, choombas. Today marks five years since the release of Cyberpunk 2077, and I am grateful to each and every one of you. I am incredibly fortunate to be a part of this community — I adore all your images, videos, cosplays, modifications that you have created for Cyberpunk 2077. It has been a truly incredible adventure.
I am especially grateful to everyone who played the game after the release of the Phantom Liberty expansion, update 2.0, and all subsequent updates that we released. It has been a wonderful journey. I hope you enjoyed the stories we told, our characters, and this amazing world.
I feel truly happy that I can be a part of this community, that I had the opportunity to work on this game and add something valuable to your life. Thank you so much, my dears, for being with us all these five years. Don't forget about Night City.
