Rumors about the specs of the Anbernic RG 477V vertical handheld console turned out to be true. The developers have presented a promo trailer of the device, which shows all the features of this new product.
The Anbernic RG 477V will feature a Mediatek Dimensity 8300 chip, a Mali‑G615 MC6 graphics processor, Android 14 operating system, a 5500 mAh battery (up to eight hours of battery life), and a 4.7‑inch LTPS display with multi-touch, 1280×960 resolution, and a maximum refresh rate of 120 Hz.
The console will also get 8–12 GB of RAM, 128–256 GB of internal memory, Wi‑Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, Hall sensor sticks with a large tilt angle, support for TF cards up to 2 TB, high-quality stereo speakers, a built-in six-axis gyroscope, a high-speed fan, and a heat pipe with active cooling.
Support for FOTA updates, online multiplayer, streaming, wireless screen projection, and wired stereo headphones with a 3.5 mm jack is provided. A block of AI functions is highlighted separately: one-click search for game guides, real-time translation, intelligent dialogue, text-to-image generation, image processing, and other features.
On the Anbernic RG 477V, you can run games for Android, WiiU, PS Vita, 3DS, PS2, Wii, NGC, PSP, DC, SS, PS1, NDS, N64, ARCADE, FBA, NEOGEO, GBA, GBC, GB, SFC, FC, MD, SMS, MSX, PCE, WSC, and other platforms. The console will be available in black and retro-gray colors.
