Mangmi has announced the Pocket Max portable horizontal console, which is expected to combine Retroid-level performance with an Ayaneo-inspired design.
Following the success of the Mangmi Air X in the under $100 price segment, Mangmi has decided to make another statement and has unveiled its next portable console, the Pocket Max.
So far, the developers have only shown a teaser image of the device. Judging by the image, gamers can expect a new horizontal console with a D-pad, two analog sticks, and a classic set of buttons.
Retro Handhelds staff suggest that the Pocket Max will be larger than the Pocket Air and may feature a Snapdragon 865 processor. These assumptions arose after a device with this name was repeatedly spotted on the Geekbench platform, where its results are comparable to the Retroid Pocket 5.
The new product is expected to combine Retroid-level performance with an AYANEO/KONKR-inspired design. More details about the Mangmi Pocket Max will be available in the near future.
