Fans continue to await the return of the Valve franchise.
First, some players were waiting for the announcement of Half-Life 3 in November, and then in December. However, Valve hasn't shown anything yet and, it seems, won't show anything in the near future.
Insider Gaming editor Mike Straw claims that Valve plans to release Half-Life 3 along with Steam Machine. Presumably, this could happen in the spring of 2026.
Allegedly, Valve is in no hurry to announce it because it cannot name the price of Steam Machine.
The device uses a combination of "16 GB of DDR5 RAM + 8 GB of GDDR6 video memory", and now memory prices on the market have risen sharply — the cost of Steam Machine is in question.
