The fight against Denuvo protection on PC continues.
Recently, players remembered Persona 5 Royal again. Hackers MKDEV announced the hacking of the PC version of the JRPG Atlus.
The infamous Denuvo was used for its protection, but tech enthusiasts were able to find an approach to it.
MKDEV warned that this is a test version of the Persona 5 Royal hack and this release is a "one-time" release — "after its finalization and testing, there will be no such versions in the future."
However, the hackers noted that they were able to find a way to bypass some Denuvo checks using a hypervisor and shared it with the community.
MKDEV believes that this method can be improved and considers it as "the only viable option for long-term work [on hacking] Denuvo."
