In mid-December, the Spooky Update was released for Megabonk. Its release was slightly delayed, as the scale of the update changed in the process:
I finally finished the update I've been working on. It was originally supposed to be a small "Halloween update", but I wanted to make it bigger – and as a result, there was more work than I originally planned. I hope you enjoy it!
The developer added new achievements and challenges, a map and opponents, a character, weapons, and items for Megabonk.
He also paid attention to optimization in the late stages of the game and fixed some bugs.
