The publishing house «Bombora» has prepared an unexpected gift for fans of the Marvel universe. It became known that it is going to publish in Russia the book «Una araña en la red del videojuego» by author José Antonio Luna.
This is a great journey through more than forty years of Spider-Man games - from the pixel Spider-Man on Atari 2600 to Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 on PlayStation 5.
The book combines cultural criticism, essays and journalistic research. It tells not only about the development of games, but also about how the image of a friendly neighbor influenced culture, politics and society.
Work is already in full swing on its translation, but it is not yet known exactly when it will fall into the hands of Russian-speaking readers and how much it will cost.
