The ceremony took place on December 10 at the Korea Content Awards in Seoul. Kim was recognized for strengthening the global competitiveness of Korean games, particularly through the Goddess of Victory: NIKKE and Stellar Blade projects.
The Korea Content Awards, organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Creative Content Agency, honor those who develop the gaming industry. In 2023, NIKKE was recognized for its success in foreign markets, and in 2024, Stellar Blade demonstrated the potential of Korean AAA products.
Upon receiving the award, Kim thanked the Shift Up teams and fans. He also spoke about future projects: the multi-platform Project Spirits and the Stellar Blade sequel.
This presidential award is a credit to the team and the fans who believed in Shift Up. We will continue to show the competitiveness of Korean games in the world.
