The award for "Best Performance" at the latest The Game Awards ceremony went to Jennifer English, who played Maelle in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.

Although this was her first win at the show, projects featuring English have received over 20 awards, including three of the last four "Game of the Year" winners, making her one of the notable actresses in the gaming industry.

Elden Ring, Baldur's Gate 3, and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 have one thing in common: all three projects won "Game of the Year," and Jennifer English participated in all of them. In Elden Ring, she appeared as a minor character (Latenna), but in Baldur's Gate 3 and Clair Obscur, she played key characters — Shadowheart and Maelle, receiving the award for the latter.

English has been working in the industry relatively recently, starting with small roles in Divinity: Original Sin 2 and Augmented Empire (2017). The real breakthrough came with Elden Ring (2022) and Baldur's Gate 3 (2023), making her influence on recent games significant.
