The publishing house "Studio 101" has announced the opening of pre-orders for the "Dresden Files" tabletop role-playing game based on the literary series by Jim Butcher, where scary tales are not children's fantasies, but quite real things.
Currently, "Volume One. Your Game" can be purchased for 4490 rubles, "Volume Two. Our World" for 3490 rubles, a set of blank forms for 450 rubles, Fate dice "Winter Knight" for 1490 rubles, a Fate notebook (without lines) for 990 rubles, and a special set for 13,999 rubles.
Thanks to this tabletop game, people will be able to plunge into a world of urban fantasy, full of magic, secrets, mysteries, and dizzying adventures. In the "Dresden Files" universe, trolls live under bridges, brave Knights of the Cross smite immortal Fallen Angels with their swords in dark alleys, and young werewolves guard the peace of university quarters at night.
Ordinary people just yell at the TV, root for their favorite teams, and don't even suspect that battles are raging right behind them that would be enough for a dozen Armageddons. The world balances in a fragile equilibrium - and it is kept by those who are willing to remain in the shadows so that ordinary mortals can calmly enjoy their usual lives. This pre-order campaign has the following stretch goals (the team already has 206,464 rubles in the piggy bank):
- 200 thousand rubles - the paper density will increase from 105 to 115 g/m². 300 thousand - for the hardcover there will be a binding cardboard with a thickness of 2.5 mm, and not 2 mm;
- 400 thousand - not a simple matte cover, but a special anti-scratch one. 500 thousand - all pages will be covered with offset varnish for durability;
- 700 thousand - the paper density will increase to 130 g/m². 800 thousand - for the hardcover, cardboard with a thickness of 3 mm. One million - paper with increased whiteness, characteristic of art books and museum albums.
The estimated date of dispatch of printed books and accessories is the end of 2026.
