Three months after the release of Dying Light: The Beast, Techland is working on a new project. The company's website has an announcement for the position of Lead Network Gameplay Designer.
The description states that the project is being created from scratch. The new employee will be involved in the virtual economy and systems to ensure that players regularly return to the game. The announcement hints at a large multiplayer project with co-op or PvP.
Previously, Techland canceled two other projects, but employees were not laid off, but reassigned to new tasks. The studio has not officially commented on the announcement, but for fans, this is confirmation that the Dying Light franchise continues to develop.
Attention to the project is growing amid possible increased control by Tencent, the owner of Techland.
