New Divinity Will Be Released in Early Access, Like Baldur's Gate 3

After The Game Awards 2025, Larian Studios fans are wondering when they will be able to play the new Divinity RPG. The game will first appear in early access.
Larian founder Sven Vincke said in an interview:
We are still planning early access. It's our strategy, especially thanks to community involvement. It was an important part of the development of Divinity: Original Sin 1 and 2, as well as Baldur’s Gate 3.
Vincke explains that early access helps improve games:
Games are significantly improved through early access. When players are involved, it creates additional motivation and increases their participation, so you get a really valuable result — even if it's sometimes painful for the developers. Sometimes you have to admit that the fans are right and we were wrong.
He added:
It requires additional effort, but it leads to a better game, which is the goal.
The experience of Baldur’s Gate 3 shows that this approach is justified: the RPG went through early access from 2020 to 2023 and received many awards.
