It seems that gamers won't have to wait until 2030 after all.
Recently, players once again remembered The Elder Scrolls VI. This time, the reason was a statement by insider Kiwi Talkz.
He believes that TES VI will suffer the fate of the recent Metroid Prime 4:
[...] Bethesda isn't even giving an approximate date because, frankly, it would do more harm than good — especially after the game was announced too early. Personally, I think TES VI is destined for the same fate as Metroid Prime 4: it will sell well, but it won't receive universal critical acclaim and will cause controversy among players.
Regarding the release window for The Elder Scrolls VI, he stated:
You won't see The Elder Scrolls VI before 2028, and in all likelihood, the game will only be released in 2029.
