Recently, analysts from Newzoo presented a new report. They reviewed console game sales and highlighted the top 10 best-selling projects.
As it turned out, the criticized Ubisoft game still managed to take a high position in the sales chart (compiled by revenue).
The "top ten" included various established franchises — sports games from Electronic Arts and Battlefield, as well as Borderlands, MLB The Show, Pokemon, and Assassin's Creed.
According to the data presented, Assassin's Creed Shadows is the best-selling console game of 2025, excluding sports projects and Battlefield 6.
The data as of November is taken into account — December data will be included in the report for the full year 2025, which is planned to be released in January next year.
