The publishing house "Evrikus" has announced the release of the board game "Leaders" by game designer Hugo Freygnoy in Russia. It is now available for purchase for 2549–3497 rubles.
This asymmetrical board game can be called a modern take on chess, as it offers endless possibilities for tactics. On their turn, a player moves or activates characters, and then recruits a new character from those available into their team.
The main goal is to capture the opponent's leader (place two of your heroes on cells adjacent to him) or surround him (create a stalemate where the leader has nowhere to move).
In total, in "Leaders" you can find 16 unique units with active and passive abilities, the combination of which determines the outcome of the match. An advanced mode is also available, where you can banish opponent's characters.
