AdHoc Studios fears that the game's success may be forgotten amidst the high-profile releases of 2026, such as GTA 6 and new indies.
Co-founder Nick Herman said:
We've already heard from Geoff [Keighley] that we qualify next year. But the question is, will anyone care?
Dispatch achieved success thanks to its stellar cast, captivating storyline, and episodic releases that kept players engaged. The game was nominated for "Best Indie Debut Game" in 2025, despite only half of the game being available at the time.
The developers plan to remind fans of themselves before the awards:
