Over the years, Nintendo has released many remakes, covering both its main franchises and several unexpected projects. In recent years, remakes have become a real trend, and the number of such projects on the market has increased significantly.
Nintendo was one of the first to introduce the concept of remakes, releasing Super Mario All-Stars in 1993, which included reworked versions of the first three games in the Super Mario series and Lost Levels (the Japanese version of Super Mario Bros. 2). Since then, the company has regularly released remakes.
A video has appeared on the Nintendo Unity YouTube channel comparing all Nintendo remakes (not remasters and improved versions) with the originals. The video examines more than 40 projects.
