Escape from Tarkov Servers Crashed During Stream While Nikita Buyanov Promised to Speed Up Loading and Reconnect

Even EFT developers are not immune to crashes.
The creators of Escape from Tarkov presented a New Year's special stream, TarkovTV. Battlestate Games boss Nikita Buyanov decided to talk about plans for the game in 2026:
First quarter of the year:
- Expansion of integration with Steam.
- Reconnect rework: developers want reconnection after a crash to take 10-15 seconds.
- Optimization of internal systems, speeding up loading and unloading. The developers want: "Pressed the button - and you immediately found yourself in the raid."
- Reducing memory consumption.
- "Serious" performance boost, especially on Streets of Tarkov.
- Vegetation rework.
During the stream, there was an awkward moment: EFT servers crashed and the developers took a break while it was being fixed. Buyanov joked that "this is a video" (a screensaver about the servers crashing in the background), but some players also reported connection problems at that moment.
