Not all of the developers' ideas made it into the release version of the game.
The mod community continues to gradually restore various elements of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
This year saw the release of an update to the "Brothers In Arms - Ultimate Edition" mod with cut content, and xLetalis decided to showcase one of the restored scenes — a meeting between Geralt and Lambert.
In the original "The Witcher 3", the hero meets Lambert when he is fighting a monster, but initially CD Projekt RED wanted to present a different version of the scene.
It was assumed that Lambert would be meditating, and after Geralt addressed him, he was supposed to tell the hero to hide.
Players would have the opportunity to complete this quest even after the battle for Kaer Morhen. Some lines indicate that at that stage of development, CDPR had not yet determined the fate of one of the important characters,
