Recently, players were once again reminded of BioShock 4. Journalists at MP1St published a selection of images and revealed some details about the game.
The setting is called the Antarctic city of Borealis, and the events are supposedly set in the 1960s:
- A large casino may appear.
- Some data indicates that there is an area or place called "Solaria / Solaris"
- There are mentions of a specific class of people known as "Solarians" — it is not yet clear who they are.
- Snow will play an important role in creating the atmosphere of the game.
- The substance "ADAM" may return in some form. In previous installments of the franchise, it granted users superpowers and caused addiction.
- Although there is no direct mention of "Splicers" (mutants / splicers), journalists found references to a specific person or entity called "Male Flusher". It is assumed that these may be analogues of creatures from Rapture.
- Journalists were able to find an image of a golden statue of a man holding his hands in a specific pose reminiscent of Atlas. He may be the antagonist of the game.
