Gaijin Network, known to many for War Thunder, is the publisher of the Active Matter project. This is an extraction shooter developed by Matter Team.
Recently, the game community on Steam published answers to a number of community questions and shared their plans:
- The developers will "think about" ranked matchmaking
- There will be no notifications about reviewed complaints against suspicious players, but perhaps the developers will start publishing anonymized statistics on the number of blocked users
- There will be no separate "campaign" in the classic sense. The entire history and lore of the world can be discovered organically through notes, item descriptions, and unique tasks, and the developers are currently satisfied with this approach to the world's structure.
- A winter map will appear in the game, but you'll have to wait: "creating a winter map is in our plans, we hope to release it by the summer"
- The developers will work on the quest system, adding "chains of sequential quests so that in several raids on the same map, [players] complete some big event."
Active Matter has not yet been released on Steam — the game is currently available on a separate website (various editions are sold).
