Participants see a Russian trace in the riots at the event.
Blogger MrBeast organized a Minecraft competition, around which a scandal erupted.
It was assumed that in this event, 500 men and 500 women would compete for a prize of $50,000. However, one of the participants, ZavvyGamer, drew attention to the fact that cunning men had infiltrated the "women's" team.
According to her, "Russian men" used deepfakes / generated images to get through the selection system and get into the women's team.
Allegedly, these "men" hunted for contestants for several days and posted signs with offensive content.
Another participant, phoefii, spoke about "Russian hackers" who "hacked the women's team." She also stated that members of the men's team bribed the girls — offering them to kill members of their team in exchange for ordering food delivery.
Some participants believe that the organizers of the Minecraft competition sympathized with the men's team and "constantly resurrected problem players." Dissatisfied people claim that MrBeast did not include many moments in the final version of the video, so it does not fully reflect what happened at the event.
