Not everyone appreciated the man's decision.
Recently, a recording of a gamer father went viral. He took his Xbox to the hospital and started playing (it looks like Call of Duty).
Some users criticized him, saying that he was ignoring his wife at such an important moment and instead spending time playing video games.
"There is a time and place for everything." Alas, people are no longer taught this
you [supporting him] all act like he deserves praise just for being present in the hospital - it pisses me off, [acts like] he isn't a parent
I'm so glad my husband doesn't play video games... Because everything is wrong in this video! He should have been taking care of his wife, comforting her, all the attention should be on her. Not on that ****** game console!
However, not everyone condemned the "father of the year" - sometimes labor can last up to 10-20 hours, so his desire to sit down and play to make the time pass unnoticed is understandable.
Judging by the comments, he is supported not only by other men, but also by women who themselves spent a lot of time in the hospital and whose husbands sometimes brought a console with them.
