Steam is Removing a JoJo Party Game, Transformers Tactics, a Jurassic Park Game, a Retro Beat 'em Up, and Other Licensed Projects
Agreements to use various franchises in video games don't last forever. Some companies don't renew them. Transformers: Battlegrounds and more will soon disappear from sale.
In late December, some developers reminded that from next year their projects will no longer be sold in digital services.
For example, Outright Games, which actively releases projects based on various franchises, will soon remove a number of games from sale:
- Transformers: Battlegrounds — turn-based tactics in the Transformers universe
- The Addams Family: Mansion Mayhem — 3D adventure
- Blaze and the Monster Machines: Axle City Racers — racing
- JoJo Siwa Worldwide Party — a project about the adventures of a famous singer-dancer.
Also, the authors of River City Ransom: Underground suddenly cleared their page on Steam and also announced that their retro beat 'em up will soon be removed from Steam.
It seems Limited Run Games is going to remove Jurassic Park Classic Games Collection — a collection of projects based on the Jurassic Park franchise recently disappeared from the Xbox store.
