The developers of The Blood of Dawnwalker continue to gradually reveal the game lore. Recently, they presented another fragment dedicated to one of the cities.
The focus was on Svartrau:
The city is located in the heart of the Sangora Valley, a place where all roads lead. It used to be a rich and vibrant city, but the last two years have taken their toll. Many died from the plague, others — mostly nobles — were killed by Brentsis after his coup. The new prince may have put an end to the plague, but other problems have arisen. Today, those weakened or orphaned by the plague flock to the steps of the cathedral in hopes of getting a warm meal. After sunset, they crawl into the shadows, and the streets are taken over by vrakhiri — blood addicts, as well as other suspicious types. Despite all the efforts of the guard, Svartrau can hardly be called a safe place.
