Bright Memory: Infinite Developer Returns with Large-Scale Action Set in 1912 China
FYQD-Studio has revealed the first footage of their new game, a third-person shooter with a focus on dynamic action. The events take place during a period of "turmoil and collapsing order," where "competing gangs clash in the shadows, and violence and conspiracy quietly spread through the streets," the developers state.
The project uses the historical backdrop of the formation of the Republic of China in 1912. The developers emphasize that the story and everything related to the game is fictional and has no relation to real events. The era serves only as a background setting, and the main focus is on third-person action.
Currently, the team is focused on graphics and motion capture. It is not yet known when the release will take place, but judging by the first footage, the project will be more "grounded" compared to Bright Memory: Infinite. The latter game, released in 2021 on PC and later on consoles, combined a first-person shooter, melee combat, and fantastical enemies.
