Embark Studios continues to celebrate the success of ARC Raiders. The game remains popular and strengthens its status as a leader among extraction shooters.
Data recently emerged showing that the project has retained a large portion of its community on Steam, driven not only by gameplay and execution quality but also by an original matchmaking system.
According to analyst Rhys Elliott from Alinea Analytics, ARC Raiders sales exceeded 12 million copies across all platforms (PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S) over the past weekend, earning more than $350 million.
Interestingly, the game's largest audience is on Steam at 53.5%. Although the concurrent player record remains at 481,966, daily activity reached 3.2 million on January 4.
The analyst attributes the surge in activity to the holiday sale. Meanwhile, sales began to stabilize as early as the beginning of December. The developers continue to evolve the game: the winter update added a free battle pass and limited-time events.
