Some Arc Raiders fans are unhappy that cheaters are frequently encountered in raids. Recently, a streamer and Call of Duty tournament champion known as Nadeshot spoke out.
According to him, he regularly encounters people who have previously received bans for cheating or are using new accounts:
the level of cheating in Arc Raiders is simply outrageous — possibly worse than it has ever been in Call of Duty. I don't want to spread negativity because I understand how quickly such things can blow up on social media, but I literally cannot complete a single raid without running into a zero-level Steam account or a profile with several VAC bans in its history.
In Nadeshot's opinion, the creators of Arc Raiders should follow the example of Epic Games with Fortnite — suing cheaters as well as their software providers:
[we need] real legal action against those who distribute and use cheats. Yes, it's just a game, and many might not even encounter this due to PvE and aggression-based matchmaking, but guys, I am in a state of war — I was literally getting crushed for eight hours straight every day. Hours of farming, crafting, and investing time and resources — all of it is swept away in every new raid over and over again.
