Now the number of escape slots is not guaranteed.
At release, Escape from Tarkov players discovered that not everyone who loads in can escape from the final location "Terminal" — the number of seats on the boat was limited.
The number of seats was fixed: if 5 players entered — 3 seats, if 4 players — 2 seats, if 2-3 players — one seat.
One community member complained about this restriction and suggested the boss of Battlestate Games make a change so that everyone could escape. Nikita Buyanov responded and wrote "already changed."
The first testers reported that the number of seats is now generated randomly: "If five of you entered, the boat will be able to accommodate [randomly] from 3 to 5 players."
However, it seems that the "randomness" is more cruel than initially expected. Escape from Tarkov players have started complaining en masse that now, even when 5 players load in, only one seat on the boat might drop several times in a row (previously, 3 seats were consistently provided), meaning the difficulty of escaping Tarkov has increased.
