At CES 2026, NVIDIA showcased RTX Remix Logic - an expansion of the platform for modders, which will be released in January via an application update.
According to the company, the tool "will allow for a revolutionary update of classic PC games," adding dynamic visual effects that react to gameplay events.
The system recognizes more than 30 types of game events and offers a library of 900 triggers. Modders will be able to link lighting, material properties, and effects to player actions: opening a door or firing a weapon can change the lighting or trigger weather effects.
RTX Remix Logic supports more than 165 classic games and allows for influencing not only graphics but also mechanics. As an example, a mod by xoxor4d for Half-Life 2 RTX was shown: the night vision function activates automatically when aiming with a crossbow, expanding the original mechanics.
Along with the Logic update, an improved Remix Runtime menu will appear with settings for interface size, theme, and transparency. In 2025, the community released more than 50 modifications and 20 tools, significantly expanding the capabilities of RTX Remix.
