It seems that the community's long-standing request to release updated games in the Fallout franchise will soon be satisfied.
Insider and Windows Central journalist Jez Corden recently refuted rumors about the development of a game based on the Fallout series from Amazon, and also shared information from sources:
We will get a Fallout 3 remake in the spirit of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, as well as an updated version of Fallout: New Vegas. It is said that Obsidian, known for Grounded, The Outer Worlds and FNV, is now working on four new projects - some large, others smaller. More recently, Tim Cain, one of the creators of the original Fallout, also joined the studio. It is unknown whether these projects are related to the Fallout franchise, but in any case, it is clear that Xbox is not going to slow down in content production.
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered was developed by Virtuos. Patches have not been released for this version for a long time, and there is an opinion that the team was simply transferred to work on updating Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas.
