The game will feature various real-world bus models.
The creators of the truck driver simulator Euro Truck Simulator 2 have presented a new development diary dedicated to the add-on with playable buses, Coaches.
SCS Software has published several screenshots of buses in ETS 2, and the producer also spoke a little about the work on the project:
The main task in this position is coordination. My job is to ensure that the entire team works smoothly, everyone knows what they need to do, and has all the necessary resources and information to achieve our common goal as quickly as possible. Sometimes you have to involve additional capacity and work outside the "bus" team; for example, when we found that we could not render such a huge amount of raindrops due to the large windows. This problem concerned the rendering team, as no one in our team could solve it. I try to keep track of the direction of development in order to respond quickly to any changes that may arise
The most difficult thing is to control the scale of the project. The development team is small and they don't want the “project to drag on for another 5 years,” so you need to carefully prioritize.

As usual, screenshots from the "work in progress" series, i.e. do not reflect the final quality of the content.
The developers also showed the working environment and a prototype map for testing new elements and mechanics related to buses:
