One of the HSR insiders ended up in the sights of lawyers.
miHoYo (HoYoverse) lawyers were able to win a lawsuit against a Honkai Star Rail insider who leaked information about Castoria.
Initially, the HSR creators demanded that the insider pay compensation of $156,600 for actions they considered a "copyright infringement." However, the court issued a more lenient sentence.
The case was heard in a California court and ruled that insider Alfredo Lopez would only have to pay $16,500.
There is a nuance: the Honkai Star Rail insider did not respond to the lawsuit and did not appear in court, this decision is made in absentia. It is not yet clear how they plan to recover this amount.
