The developers of Diablo IV have announced the upcoming update 2.5.2. In addition to technical fixes, it includes highly requested features.
In the "Season of Divine Intervention," Blizzard will launch an open beta test of The Gauntlet and Leaderboards - The Gauntlet tiers will now unlock in the same way as in The Pit.
Since The Gauntlet first appeared in Season 11 PTR testing and was released in this update, we've made many changes to the mode. These include quality-of-life improvements and bug fixes. The Gauntlet will be available for beta testing, and we look forward to your feedback.
Playerswill participate in battles and fight their way through the halls on each floor of The Gauntlet:
Use pylons to gain advantages, kill special monsters, and accumulate points as quickly as possible. Strike down enemies until the final boss appears, then kill it to complete the run. Every decision is important in the race against time.
The Leaderboard will be active throughout the season for several two-week rounds, and then close the day before the end of the "Season of Divine Intervention."
The release of update 2.5.2 for Diablo IV is expected on January 12 - the day the testing of The Gauntlet and Leaderboards begins.
