Arc Raiders players have discovered that the game has a working console. Some used it for cheating (removing the display of various objects for themselves), and Short_Satisfaction_9 decided to try playing with a first-person view and shared his impressions:
When Jumpers fly at you in first-person view, it feels like you're playing Dying Light. It's very difficult to convey the same atmosphere in third person. However, I doubt that Embark will make a special mode, so it was just nice to experiment with first person while I had the opportunity.
Arc Raiders developers released a hotfix and blocked the console, but recordings of the first-person game remain online, which can be explored at the following link and here.
Judging by the comments, some players would like to be able to switch to first person or get a separate game mode.
