It seems that the game will never appear on the Nintendo console.
Recently, Larian Studios answered a number of players' questions about the new Divinity. However, some were interested in Baldur's Gate 3.
One of the community members asked about a Baldur's Gate 3 version for the Nintendo Switchy console. Larian boss Sven Vincke himself answered this question:
We would gladly do [a BG3 port], but the decision does not depend on us.
Insider NateTheHate2reacted to Sven Vincke's message - he stated that the relationship between Larian and the franchise owner has deteriorated (he did not disclose details):
This is the bitter truth. Although Larian would gladly port Baldur's Gate 3 to Switch 2... their relationship with Hasbro/Wizards of the Coast is far from healthy. At the end of last year, I heard that BG3 would not be released on Switch 2; but more sources were needed for confirmation.
