The authors of the Russian tactic Red Recon 1944 (or "Reconnaissance: 1944") recently talked about how the development is progressing:
In total, 5 maps with the main gameplay and meta-game are ready - with all the content, mechanics, musical accompaniment, cut-scenes. This is a little more than 10 hours of full playthrough.
The developers plan to release Red Recon: 1944 this year:
Work is in full swing, we are increasing momentum and confidently moving towards release in the second half of 2026. Before the release, we plan to present a full-fledged demo version with new content, but we will talk about this in more detail in the new year.
