Last year, an incident occurred at the Arena of Valor tournament. A large-scale deception was revealed: one of the participants completely faked her career.
In fact, Warasin "Tokyogurl" Naraphat never played. The secret of her "esports successes" turned out to be simple - another person played for her using remote assistance technology.
The deception was revealed during the decisive semi-final match between Thailand and Vietnam. Then the organizers noticed that Tokyogurl's actions did not correspond to the girl's body movements, which they saw during the broadcast.
They suspended the match and found out that the "gamer" used Discord* to access the screen of a person playing remotely, and she herself tried to imitate his movements at the tournament.
Earlier this year, former Arena of Valor pro player "Cheerio", who is in a relationship with Tokyogurl, admitted that he was her "remote player" - apologized to the citizens of Thailand, the esports community, and all affected parties.
