Modders restored cut areas in Fallout 3 - the game world has doubled in size

Some ideas were abandoned during development. Fans decided to bring the content back.
Recently, the DC Anniversary Project presented a large-scale modification for Fallout 3, which aims to restore cut content.
Modders offer players to visit 13 cut locations from Washington and Virginia:
Although very little remains of the external areas of these missing world spaces themselves, the final version of the game retains enough cut content and information to restore what exactly was cut, where it was located, and, in some cases, what dungeons might have been in them originally.
The mod authors move locations, add cut NPCs and other content, turning the game world "into a labyrinth of unique locations that try to remain true not only to what the Fallout 3 developers could have created originally, but also to the real urban and suburban areas of Washington and Virginia, on which these cut locations were based"
The project is presented on Nexus Mods in two versions:
- Standard "Fallout 3 Anniversary - District of Columbia"
- "(TTW) Fallout 3 Anniversary - District of Columbia" - with support for the Tale of Two Wastelands modification (combines Fallout 3 and New Vegas).
