Recently, Russian modder VIK talked about a homemade 32-gigabyte DDR5 memory stick.
The tech enthusiast stated that the cost of the project was 17,015 rubles (about $215). This is approximately three times cheaper than DDR5 models available on the Russian market.
VIK used two 16 GB SO-DIMM modules from a laptop. The modder flashed the stick with ADATA firmware; the XMP profile DDR5-6400 CL32 was activated (reference "ADATA AX5U6400C3232G-DCLARWH").
VIK has not yet published the test results, but stated about "stable operation" in games.
