The story of GrammaCrackers has gone viral in the gaming community. 81-year-old Sue Jacquot, a grandmother, burst into the world of blogging and streaming to help her grandson who is battling cancer.
She took the nickname GrammaCrackers and gradually mastered Minecraft. The grandmother-gamer streamed her adventures online, and her YouTube channel already has over 150,000 subscribers.
As a result, GrammaCrackers managed to raise about $35,000 for her grandson's treatment, and according to Sue, the donations received "ranged from a dollar to $5,000."
Her efforts and treatment worked: recently her grandson Jack announced that the cancer had receded and he is now healthy.
